Photos!

The kids love looking at our digital photo frame and ask "Who that" with every picture that goes by. They do say: Grammie, Mummu, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle, Nana and Papa when the pictures pop up. They are absolutely mesmerized by the photos!

Lynn is babysitting today and she just sent me this picture - she said the kids turned the frame and have been sitting there for about 10 minutes watching each photo go by!

In other news - Matthew is cutting his "I" teeth and 2 have already poked through - so now he's up to 14 teeth! (6 in the past month!!) and Ari's molars are finally through!

Wednesday "Funday" - The Boston Children's Museam

We had a blast at the Children's museam with the kids! Some things they were still a little young for, but they have a room that only allows kids ages 0-3 into it, so we spent most of the time playing in there! They had a Thomas the Train play set, a fish tank, coloring section, slides, climbing things etc. They also had a kitchen so we could do "snack time" with the kids!

We attended a music show and well my 2 didn't stay long for that! We then went to the water and sand room - and my 2 again - didn't stay long in there...they were starting to get very tired and hungry! So we headed downstairs for lunch. We all packed a lunch and sat in their lunchroom and ate. From there we went back upstairs for a little while, and Ari ended up falling asleep in the stroller. She slept for about 1.5 hours! Matthew, Kiera and Kaeli played in the Construction room (which is all trucks and climbing things) and had a blast. At about 230 we decided to call it quits since we had been there since 10am (w/no naps!) - so we put the kids back in the stroller and Lisa and I went downstairs to get a drink before we headed out - while we were standing in line for a drink - both Kiera and Matthew passed out! Matthew slept the entire ride home!

Next week is up in the air as far as activites go - we aren't sure if we are going to go to a pond, or Coco Keys - we just need an extra hand w/the kids!

On another note - our kids new love is Elmo (a.k.a. Melmo) - and we have the movie Elmo in Grouchland - they actually sit still for a few minutes to watch...then they take off running again!

Wednesday Fun-day

Our Wednesday Funday last week turned into a "Friday-Funday!" Mom had Wednesday - Friday off last week and the kids were not themselves (runny noses, coughs, etc.) Matthew just cut 2 more teeth - and is now up to 14 chompers! Ari's molars finally came through - so she is MUCH happier!
On Friday - the weather was gorgeous! We went to Auntie Marci's house and played in the pool and sprinkler! The kids had a blast - even Matthew had fun as he rolled down her hill into a bush (OOPS!) haha Here are some pictures of their fun day!

This week Lisa is out of school - so we are all meeting at the Children's Museam in Boston!

Getting older by the minute!

There are new words and phrases every day...but I think I heard the funniest yesterday! I went to pick up the kids at Joyce & Mike's yesterday and Joyce told me that Mike was laying down on the couch and Ari wanted to sit down. She looked at him and said: Papa Stand Up in a VERY stern voice! LOL

Ari loves my digital photo frame - she lays on the couch watching it and every picture: Who's that...who's that? So I tell her who everyone is. Yesterday I taught her how to say Uncle Brian - which came out like Cuncle Bri - SO ADORABLE! She just cut 2 of her molars and the other 2 are ready through as well. She's been in a lot of pain at night with teething so she and Mommy had a few sleepless nights last week.

Matthew is my WILD man! He is off the walls crazy! He was the quiet one - but now he runs every where, climbs everything, and jumps off the couch! (which he shouldn't be on to begin with!) He is already has 12 teeth and is now cutting his "I" teeth - so he is drooling like a St. Bernard. He loves going outside and riding in his car and running around the neighborhood!

Tomorrow is our Wednesday fun day - as of now we may just have a play date - but with shots the kids aren't really feeling like themselves. Connor also had a fever today - so Marci isn't sure if he is getting sick. David and I are going to see the Sox tomorrow night (hopefully the rain holds off) and the kids are staying at Joyce & Mike's house.

That's it for now...

Wednesday Fun Days - Ecotarium

Starting today, I have every Wednesday off for the summer. I use it to spend time with the kids, but it also saves from paying the babysitter 1 day a week! Lisa, Marci and I are doing Wednesday Fun Day's with the kids and we have adventures planned for each Wednesday for the summer.

Today - Marci, Andy and I took the kids to the Ecotarium in Worcester. Lisa isn't out of school yet ... The Ecotarium was pretty cool, but I think the kids were a little to young for it. Maybe next year or the year after they'd be more into it. They have some live animals and it is a museum for all of nature - how things work (hurricanes, tornadoes, they have polar bears, birds, etc.) so it was pretty neat.

Here are a few pictures from our first fun day...

15 month check up

The kids had their 15 month check up yesterday and all went well!

Arianna is 21lb 11.5 oz and 31.5 inches tall! She has 8 teeth and cutting her 4 molars. She is between the 50th and 75th percentile for hight/weight!

Matthew is 21lb 14 oz and 32 inches tall! he has 12 teeth and is now cutting his I teeth. He is between the 50th & 75th percentile for height but 10-20 for weight! He sure is a skinny boy!

Both kids had to get 2 shots!

I also took them this weekend to get their professional pictures done for their 1 year bday...well I was a few months late! Here are some of them...

Painting with Pudding...

I let the kids have a little fun the other night after dinner...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm pudding!

Gettin' Corny!

The kids had their first taste of corn on the cob @ Grammie's house last weekend. They enjoyed every bit of it!
