The biggest news so far is...Mommy has a new job! I started last week in my role as the Assistant Director of Graduate & International Admissions. I have new hours from 9:30 - 6:30 M-Th and Friday I work 8-5. I like my new schedule because I can bring the kids to school everyday, then hit up the gym before going to work. So far so good!
The kids are doing great! They love going to school and seeing their friends every day. When they come home, I say to them..."So what did you do today?" their answer everyday..."We didn't paint!" (ok...well what did you do then???!!!) Tomorrow I get to go to school with them for a few hours for their Thanksgiving luncheon. I love being able to spend time with them while at school.
We've been lucky to be able to get the kids pictures taken for free (I've been helping out the photographer when I can) - so she gives us the photos unedited, then David edits them. We brought them in for their Halloween pictures - as well as some Christmas pictures.
We did, unfortunately, have some sad news this week. David had to take Grizzley (our chocolate lab) to be put down. Grizz was diagnosed with cancer last month, and they thought he would have at least 3 months left. Needless to say his parents are devastated since that is where Grizz has been for the last 10 years!
