Merry Christmas...

Well the last time I wrote was 2 days before Thanksgiving, and well...a LOT has happened since then!

First off - we had our first emergency room trip! I went to pick the kids up from school (the afternoon after I wrote my last post), and I was also delivering cupcakes to one of their teachers. The kids were outside playing on the playground with their friends, and I ran in to get their stuff. I was talking to Maria, who is the owner of Piccolo and she said she would meet me outside. About 2 minutes later she came back in and said you need to come with me (in a very calm voice) - I said sure...ok! We walk outside and Arianna is sitting in Melinda's lap (one of her teachers) and Melinda is holding Ari's chin. Maria said - she needs stitches - you take her...and leave Matthew here! I called Daddy and he arrived prior to me leaving - but Ari and I drove to St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester for her first set of stitches! I called Grampa as we were pulling into Worcester to see if he left work yet - and he was just getting in his car. I said...oh good...can you meet me at the ER? Arianna was such a trooper! She didn't cry, she laid still and was AWESOME!!!

Her stitches came out 4 days later - and so far so good! She's my brave little cookie!

Ari can't take all the credit though...Matthew ended up with a black eye shortly after! He bumped it on the corner of the bathroom sink!

The weekend after Thanksgiving we went and picked out our Christmas tree. We picked it out at a lot and someone chopped it down for us. This was the earliest we have ever gotten it - but we were in the holiday spirit! David set it up and the kids and I decorated.

A week later the sickness hit our house...Matthew ended up with a double ear infection, pneumonia and the stomach bug. You probably guessed it - Arianna was the week after! Mom and Dad switched off every day of who was headed to work! Matthew ended up getting a temp as high as 104.5!!!!! We are now finally back on the mend.

Tonight was the kids holiday concert at school. Grammie and Uncle Brian came and the kids were great singing on stage. No crying this year - they both were stars!

I wish everyone a very merry Christmas! Hug your loved ones tight!!!
