Happy Halloween...in November!

Tonight was our Trick or Treating adventure in Leominster! Due to the storm last weekend everything got postponed. Dominic and his brothers came with us, along with Kaeli and Connor! All the kids had a great time and got tons of candy!

My husband, David, and I tried to have a child together for 5 years. After many tests, 3 IUIs, fertility drugs, and finally IVF we were blessed with our beautiful twins. During many years of trying to conceive, we dealt with the usual trials that an infertile couple faces. So many times I felt like such a failure and saw all of the wonderful things happening to our friends and family. Of course, we were so happy for each of them, but it was hard because we felt like our lives were just standing still and we wondered when the plans we had made for our family would finally start.

That day came on June 30th 2008 when I found out I was expecting. I was so nervous taking the test and when it didn't turn right away I figured it was a negative. I took a shower, got ready for work, then remembered the test...sitting on my counter! I looked at it an ran downstairs to share the news with my husband. On July 23, 2008 we went in for our ultrasound. The Ultrasound Tech looked at the monitor - then looked at me - then looked at David - then David said...OH Sh*t! That was the moment we found out we were having twins!

Arianna Lynn and Matthew Robert made their way into the world via C-Section on March 3, 2009 at 1:58 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.
