This weekend we had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday party...and boy did Mommy have fun! Seeing as Mickey Mouse is my favorite character, I have received lots of dishes, bowls, cups, etc. over the years...so I put them to use! I made Mickey & Minnie cupcakes, I made them each a giant Mickey / Minnie cupcake that they could demolish themselves, Mickey shaped Turkey Sandwich, Minnie's Bow Tie Pasta, Hot Dog Hot Dog Hot Diggity Dogs (from the end theme song), Donald's Tasty Taco Salad, Goofy's wicked Buffalo Dip, and Pluto's Punch. I even made them Mickey pancakes for breakfast! I made cute Oreo favors for everyone too...1/2 were Mickey and the other 1/2 were Minnie!
The kids were so excited for all of their friends and family to come over! They received lots of spring & summer clothes. Ari received a beautiful doll cradle & High chair and her very first American Girl Doll (Bitty Baby). Matthew got a lego/train table and he's so excited to play with that! Matthew also got his very own dress up clothes from Val - so he no longer needs to dress in heels and a princess dress!
Both kids crashed at 6:15 last night! They were so good and so happy all day! They played well with all of their friends and there were no tears the whole day!
