Sorry it's been a few weeks since my last update! A lot has happened since then....
Daddy and I got a weekend away last weekend. We stayed at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence. Grammie and Grampa had the kids over night. It was nice for Mom and Dad to get away. We had a nice dinner and then watched the Pats playoff game.
The kids "officially" started in Pre-School last week. They are no longer in Toddler 2 - so their curriculum will change a little bit...which means my babies are officially "pre-schoolers!" I can't believe they will be 3 in a little over a month!
Both kids are about 90% potty trained! They are dry at night and after naps - and can stay dry all day! Ari has been doing GREAT with going poop on the potty this past week...Matthew will go, but has also had a few accidents.
Papa came to visit us this past weekend. He got to pick the kids up from school, brought them legos, and the kids had fun with him - even if it was only a short trip this time.
Mommy's cupcake business is going really well! I've already had 2 orders, and I have 3 this upcoming week! I just did a party for my girlfriend Marci's son and the theme was Toy Story...The cupcakes and cake pops came out cute! (see photos) I have another birthday party to do for this upcoming weekend - but not as intense. One order is for a friend of mine surprising his girlfriend with cupcakes and the one I'm most excited about is...my co-worker asked me to make cupcakes for him becuase he's surprising his girlfriend with an engagement ring! So my cupcakes will be the "centerpiece" for the ring!
Sickness keeps hitting our house - not sure if it is winter - or all the germs they are picking up from school. Joyce and Mike had to take the kids to the doctors for me today since I'm swamped (I have a break between tour guide interviews right now...) Matthew and Mommy have been up since 2am. He's been coughing the last couple of days and once again it turned into an ear infection. As they were sitting at the doctors' office, Matthew's temp spiked from 100 - 102! Arianna is coughing, but no ear infection for her - we just have to keep on top of her nebulizer treatments. I tell ya - I hope next winter isn't as bad since they would have been in school longer and been exposed to these germs!
That's it for now...until the next update!
