Arianna is 100% potty trained! She only wears pull ups at night, but most nights she will also wake up dry! She even surprised me last week when she had an upset belly and even ran to the bathroom every time she had to go! She is so excited to be in her big-girl undies and she is so good about telling us she has to go!
She has been feeling better - I would hope so after a month of antibiotics and steroids! We went to her ENT specialist last week and he looked in her ears - said everything looked ok at that point, but wants her to come back in a month for a hearing test - to make sure with these infections she didn't have any hearing loss. She refused to open her mouth when the doctor wanted to look in! I don't blame her one bit - the poor thing has been through so much lately!
We took her on Saturday to get her first "Big Girl" hair cut! We're getting their 3 year photos done on Saturday and I wanted her to have a nice hair cut...her hair was getting scraggly! She was so excited to sit in the chair and look in all the mirrors! She ended up getting about 2 inches cut off - and she looks so grown up!
She is doing so well at school! They got their 1st "report card" and she was excelling in everything! She loves going there, seeing her teachers and getting to spend time with her friends!
Matthew is about 90% potty trained! He is pretty good "most" days - but then other days he'll forget! He does wear his big boy undies every day - but some days - Mommy and Daddy have to clean a big mess! At least we don't have any more diapers in our house...trying to think positively!
Matthew seems to be feeling better as well. He did have a tummy ache this weekend, but we think it's from all the medicine he's been on that it's taking a toll on his little belly. Hopefully we're done with that nonsense for a while!
He is also doing very well at school - He loves all of his friends, and even tells me he has a girl friend at school...named Leah! Leah is A-Dorable - and Ari's little boyfriend is Toby - who in my opinion is the best looking boy in the class! So my kids have good taste! LOL
I'm planning their 3rd birthday party, which will be a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme - they are both SO excited and I even found them cute outfits to wear for their birthday! I think mommy is more excited than they are! I just can't believe my babies are going to be 3. Where have these 3 years gone? I'm just so excited to see the growth and development of this upcoming year!
